At NACO, Adam is responsible for various projects that support the organization’s overall mission and ensure a smooth and valuable experience for members.
Adam is a member of the inaugural cohort of Venture for Canada where he cultivated his passion for entrepreneurship and startups over two years of working for QRA Corp in Halifax. After experiencing the challenges of a early-stage growth first hand, he is excited about supporting the broader ecosystem and increasing the visibility and impact of the Angel investing community.
Adam graduated from Dalhousie University with a degree in Management and Economics.
Director, Events & Marketing
At NACO, Vanessa is responsible for managing all events and marketing related initiatives, including the Annual National Angel Summit and NACO Academy Events held across Canada.
At NACO, Pawan assists in developing and executing projects in support of NACO’s research strategy and related policy and education initiatives.
At NACO, Elena is responsible for supporting operations and coordinating projects including the Angel Activity Report, Report on Early-Stage Support for Canadian Companies and NACO Academy.
Elena holds a Master’s degree in International Financial Management and graduated from the Centennial College’s Marketing Research and Analytics program.
Manager of Education and Research
In her role as Manager of Education and Research, Caroline brings over six years of experience leading research at the University of Toronto’s Global Governance Program. In this role she oversaw the annual compliance report, which was distributed to international stakeholders and had international readership.
At NACO, Caroline provides the directs the research into the early-stage financing ecosystem, leading to the development of educational resources and evidence-based policy.
Caroline has a Masters degree from the University of Toronto’s Ontario Institute for Studies in Education in Adult Education and Community Development and a degree from Humber College in International Project Management.
Marketing and Design Intern
At NACO, Diego is responsible for leveraging the data produced by the Marketing channels in order to align the digital communication strategy with NACO’s goals. He is tasked with updating NACO´s website and producing designs for digital and print media, as well as with the management of social media and e-newsletters.
Diego is at student of the Business Marketing program at Fanshawe College, and has been involved previously with the Angel Investing ecosystem through the rebranding efforts of Angel Investors Ontario.
